GWT is showing 200 short meta description errors… i don’t know what to do… my site is very new and now i am getting 2-5 visitors per day… do i need to change the meta descriptions??? because it is difficult to edit 200 pages…

On a mac you can use the Edit menu > Special Characters (usually the bottom-most item in the edit menu)

I’m with 1and1 also. I run WP 3.2.1 on PHP5.

I added that line to a php.ini file in my root AND script folders, and still I get the error.

Any clues?

OR you can just bookmark this page and copy/paste them from above. Works especially well if you’re on a Mac and thus have no “Alt” key.

does everyone here have the linux package? i can’t get it to work…and the 1and1 website says that the only package that allows configuration changes via htacess is the linux packages?

can you make it work with out the linux package?
